As you read this, I am settling in back at the office after hosting our second Construction Rollforming Show in Cincinnati, Ohio.

You have no idea how gratified I am to type that sentence.

The last Construction Rollforming Show occurred in 2019. In that time, how the world has changed. Events in the last two years have included entire continents shutting down, widespread fear, riots, and a contested presidential election.

The construction industry did fare better than most, but now we are dealing with some of the long-term consequences of living in interesting times; “interesting times” as interpreted as a curse of disorder and uncertainty attributed to Aesop, Confucius, and Sir Austen Chamberlain.

The one thing we all seek more than anything now is a return to a state resembling normalcy. At least, I know I do.

I am happy to be hosting (and attending) trade shows once again as we all begin a return to normal.

One final piece of information—interesting in a good way—is that we have just recently finalized the dates and location for the 2022 Construction Rollforming Show. Mark your calendars: November 9 and 10, 2022, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, Louisiana. Rollforming, pralines, beignets, and etouffee—sounds like a great combination!
