The church roof was needing replacement due to a premature failure of the existing asphalt shingles due to high winds and poor original installation.  Metal was selected as the most sustainable, economical and viable option to eliminate as many maintenance issues as possible, and it was aesthetically pleasing to the majority of the church. A Textured Charcoal was utilized as it mimicked the coloring of the slate that would have been on the old portion of the church. In addition, the congregation liked the functionality and beauty of the snow guards.
