DuPont (www.dupont.com) recently debuted Tedlar® polyvinyl fluoride (PVF) film for metal roofing. Among the key attributes of Tedlar® laminated metal is resistance to harsh chemicals and corrosion. For example, even for projects within 1,500 feet of the ocean, roofing laminated with Tedlar® film will provide greater resistance to corrosion from seawater and salt spray. Additionally, Tedlar® film provides resistance to fading, chalking, cracking, and blistering caused by UV exposure.
DuPont Tedlar® PVF film was recently introduced to the market and is sold by Titan Steel and its affiliated company, Metal Alliance in North America and the Caribbean.
