Next-Level Productivity

Throughout the 1990s, SWI was one of the largest rollformer manufacturers in Australia. It wasn’t long before slitters and long folders were added to the lineup which quickly became popular, highly sought-after machines. Popular enough for SWI to focus entirely on coil processing and folding machines – with the iconic Marxman slitters leading the way.

SWI’s state-of-the-art facility in Warrnambool, Australia allows the company to serve small volume applications as well as large operations throughout Asia and Europe. In 2017, SWI opened its North American facility in Georgia to provide sales, installation, and service – making the SWI brand significantly more accessible to US-based fabricators.

Today, SWI is among the top brands of sheet metal processing equipment with solutions for coil handling, uncoiling, slitting, folding, and recoiling – widely known for ease-of-use with the reliability that sheet metal fabricators demand.

As SWI’s technology advances, so does its ability to provide automation solutions. Whether it’s a single process or an entire line, companies can implement automation to increase efficiency, reduce waste, improve safety, and streamline operator involvement. While SWI may not be the first to introduce automation to sheet metal fabricators, the company has made significant advancements in both controls and mechanics to eliminate complications seen in competitive solutions.

To further remain ahead of the curve, SWI has introduced a mobile app called SWIFOLD designed to keep construction teams in the field productive and efficient. Highlights of the app include a sketchpad for creating custom flashings, tracking orders, managing part libraries, and sending orders to the factory with speed and accuracy.
