If you’ve completed a metal roofing project you’re proud of, don’t wait to send it in to be featured in the magazine and online.
Every year, the Metal Roofing IDEA Book gives roofing contractors an opportunity to put their work in front of the people who make up the metal roofing industry. And every year, I’m reminded just how many great projects are out there that we never get to see.
Maybe you’ve completed a beautiful residential roof. Maybe you tackled a challenging commercial project, helped restore a historic building, or installed a roof with an interesting design, unusual material or demanding set of circumstances. Whatever the story, we want to hear about it and share it with the industry.
The IDEA Book isn’t simply about showing off pretty roofs. It’s about showcasing the craftsmanship and problem-solving that goes into metal roofing. Contractors can see what their peers are doing, get ideas for future projects and learn about different approaches to design and installation.
And there’s something in it for you, too. Being featured gives your company an opportunity to put its work—and its workmanship—in front of an industry audience. It gives potential customers, builders, architects and other professionals a chance to see what you’re capable of. Your project becomes part of a publication that people can refer back to when they’re looking for inspiration and examples of what metal roofing can do.
You don’t need to have completed the biggest or most expensive project in the country. We’re interested in projects that are interesting, well-executed, innovative, challenging or simply beautiful. Or have an interesting or compelling story behind it.
So, if you have a project sitting in your photo library that makes you think, “We should really send this in,” take this as your invitation. Don’t wait. Send it in. We’d love to see what you’ve built.
Feel free to reach out to me with questions or email me directly with the details and photos, or use our online portal at https://readmetalroofing.com/metal-roofing-project-submission-form/.
Until next time — be well.
