This unique project, shaped like a soccer ball, is now utilized as a full-time Airbnb. The original building’s complexity necessitated an exterior finish of spray foam with a coating. Unfortunately, this construction led to issues with condensation and mold. The new owners completely gutted the house and started anew. Renoteck Metal Roofing & Exteriors was commissioned to design and execute the exterior finish.
The entire building was enveloped in Delta Vent SA, a vapor-permeable, self-adhering air- and water-resistant barrier. Renoteck’s design included the RARE Iron Stone Slate metal shingle, integrated with custom metal trim produced by Metalworks Canada.
