Residential Project Resolves Hail Damage and Resulting Leakage

The original fiberglass shingles on this Texas residence sustained hail damage, causing the roofing assembly to leak. To avoid potentially disastrous damage to the rest of the structure, homeowner Mark Dandy, a sales representative for Metal Depots, knew what kind of roofing he wanted and he knew who he wanted to install it. 

Contractor Gary Kana installed approximately 3,000 square feet of Metal Depots’ PBU Panel on the two-story home. According to him, the only challenge was the detail at the top of the first floor, where the metal had to be flashed behind the siding of the second story.
