Absolute Construction recently completed a highly complex roofing project on a modern home overlooking Cedar Creek Lake in Mabank, Texas. After storm damage necessitated a replacement, the homeowners seized the opportunity—fully covered by insurance—to upgrade to a McElroy double-lock standing seam metal roof with GAF TPO in select sections. Led by Connor Wood, Director of Absolute Construction’s Specialty Roofing Division, and coordinated with Laurence Alden of Hometime Luxury Property Management, the project required expert craftsmanship due to the home’s multiple roof facets, extensive overhangs, and low-pitch design. The previous snap-lock metal system was replaced with a double-lock standing seam method, significantly improving water resistance and durability. To further enhance protection, Polyglass MTS underlayment was installed beneath all metal sections, ensuring long-term moisture control and structural integrity.
This project was a true test of precision and expertise, given the home’s intricate architectural design.
